April Fool's Day!

Here are my babe's on April Fool's Day last year! Hard to believe how big they've gotten!
It's no joke!

Me: "Oh man, Nora, you pooped."
Nora: "No! I am not a stinky butt, mom! You are a stinky butt!"
Me: *thinking to myself* um....ok....didnt mention stinky butt at all, but whatev.
Nora counting:
In English: One, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
In Spanish: Uno, dos, tres, quatro, cinco, seis, seite, ocho, nueve, diaz.
Unbelievable. haha.
I've been wanting to blog about this for about a week now. When we first moved into the house I believe I mentioned that alot of random people throughout the town would tell me of how they heard stories that the upstairs of our house was haunted. That other families who lived here saw "people/spirits" walking in the upstairs. Right away, from the second we even first walked in to this home, I felt peace. With that, I have NEVER stopped praying that the Lord's presence would dwell here and that we would feel it strongly. I pray with the kids every night that angels would surround them and be among us as we go about our day to day lives. I believe they are! In fact, I'm sure of it.
Anyway, usually not one day goes by where I'll be in some part of the house with Nora and she will look at some random place of the room, such as a corner, or empty wall. She will say things like "Silly man...go away," and will calmly giggle. She will say "Mommy look at that silly boy!" Usually it's just a quick moment and then she moves on. She is not frightened and for the record, neither am I. I feel peaceful knowing that we are protected by these angels that belong here! I constantly pray over Nora that she would be aware of the things of God, even now. I know that she is and it excites me because her spirit is quickened and softened to such circumstances! She's a sharp little girl and the Lord is using her even now! What an awesome future He has planned for this outspoken 2 year old.
Last night, while watching biggest loser, Nora grabbed my face and turned it toward hers, holding her little hand on my cheek. She said "mommy, just look at me. I love you."
Daniel went to an orientation last night for a job opening at a nearby correction's facility. It went well, although there were 48 people there and several that looked former military. We are just praying and no matter what direction God leads us, we are willing to follow. I am at complete peace and am finding alot of comfort in that. It's nice to not have to force yourself into something out of fear. If you sit back and allow God to move, He will. And we are trusting. He has never failed us before and we both sense that change is coming in many areas of our lives. We are beyond ready!

Are you still praying for Stellan and Jonah??
Stellan is still in the PICU at his local children's hospital. Every day is a fight for his little life. He needs us to hit our knees on his behalf! Take a little time today to do so!
Prayers for Stellan

Jonah has a special place in my heart. I've been following his story since the day he was born. He is now a month old and resting in his own home! How far he has come! He still has a long, hard road ahead of him and his parents daily ask for strength in prayer from those of us who can touch the hem of the Father's robe. Are you willing to step out in faith for this little boy and his family?
