Happy Thanksgiving!

"The Lord is my strength and shield.I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.I burst out in songs of thanksgiving."
Psalms 28:7

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today was truly a great day. We woke up all around the same time and went straight downstairs to turn on the Thanksgiving day parade. I always loved the parades when I was little but I didnt know if the kids would have the attention spans to watch it yet. I was so wrong! For almost an hour & a half we all laid together on the couch and watched intently for spongebob, shrek and many other familiar characters to pass by the screen. It was awesome!

After the parade we started to get ready for our day. It was absolutely beautiful here today which allowed us to spend a little time outside which hasnt been happening alot lately. Nora loved that! We went to my grandma and grandpa Moore's house for dinner, but Braden stayed home to take his nap and my mom stayed with him. We had good food, good company and just an overall good time.

After leaving our first stop, we headed back to town for Papa Butch's house. Again, lots of good food and good company. Finally Braden woke up and I came home to get him so he could see a little bit of Thanksgiving too. The kids both really enjoyed this day I could tell and I'm so glad. Nora didnt have a nap though so when we got home and after a bath, she eventually fell asleep in the toy room on the couch. It was soooo sweet.

Last night we had Thanksgiving dinner here for Daniel's mom (meme) and his grandma. It was nice and I enjoyed doing it. Maybe next year I can have it here again with a few extra people present. Although I must admit with 2 babies, it's still nice to have somewhere to go instead of doing all the hard work. Thanks to everyone for a great day. After dinner last night, meme kept the kids so Daniel and I could go to church. Krystal and her boyfriend Will are here for Thanksgiving and Pastor Bob and Jennifer are also home. It was soooo nice to see them and spend time with them. I realize how much I miss them when they are actually here with me. I value your friendship so much girls!

Anyway it was another awesome day! Here are just a few things that I am thankful for right now:
* A God that loves me enough to die for me, live in me, reign through me and wait for me. How awesome to know and serve Him! And I will forever and ever.

* A husband that is faithful, present, patient, loving, gentle and provides. He truly gives me the desires of my heart just by being here and loving me. I'm so thankful!

* Children that are not only happy, but healthy. They are beautiful and complete my life. They have perfect voices, perfect future's and a perfect place right here with us. They are my most precious gifts. I am forever grateful for them.

* My parents. I am thankful that I have parents that work hard and fight hard not only in their marriage but in everything they do. They have been and continue to be a great example to me and my siblings. Thank you both. I love you.

* My sister and brother. They truly are the pieces of my heart that cannot be shaken. I would die for the two of them. I love them in a way that I can never express or multiply. They are part of me and are my lifeline. I love you both so much.

* My friends. I hope you all know how dear to my heart you are, but today I have never been more thankful to share my life with you. You give me strength, courage and inspiration to wake up and go at it another day. I love you all so so much.

* The ability to be healthy. This touches my heart so much right now. I have control over my health in many ways but I also know that ultimately God has the reigns. I'm doing my best to honor him with my health and body. I hope he receives that as a blessing unto Himself.

* Life. I'm just so thankful to be alive and to be living every single day. No matter what happens, what comes my way I will bless the Lord. I will live and live to the absolute fullest. No anger, No unforgiveness. No bitterness or sorrow. My life is beautiful and free. I feel like I finally know myself and am learning more everyday. I am free to be exactly who I am called to be. I am so thankful for Life!!!
